Application Specialist (AS) Alecia Sifuentes met with Administrative Secretary, Maria Cardenas for the purpose of an announced change of capacity case management inspection. Licensee requests to serve 20 preschool children from 2 to entry into kindergarten. The program operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The fire clearance was granted and received on 2/1/2022.

INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one preschool classroom. AS observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. AS used current classroom measurements. The total classroom space contains a total of 1,131 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee's request for 20 preschool children. There are 2 toilets and 4 sinks for the children, and a separate private restroom for the staff.

OUTDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There is one outdoor area on the property. The outdoor play area is fenced with a chain link fence that is at least four feet tall. AS observed a sufficient amount of equipment and toys. The play structure is gated off and inaccessible to children due to the safety label, which designates use for children 5 to 12 years old. Licensee stated they are finalizing the order of the new play structure to accommodate ages 2 to 5 years old which should arrive in June. There are no bodies of water on the premises. There are shaded areas supplied by trees.

AS used current outdoor measurements. The outdoor play area contains a total of 4,408 square feet, which will accommodate Licensee's request for 20 preschool children.
