25 | On 12/2/22 at 12:20pm, an annual inspection was made to the facility by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Erica Laird. At 1:20pm the home was toured inside and outside. The licensee and two assistants were supervising 10 children, and operating within the licensed capacity and ratio requirements. The facility’s operating hours are 6:30am-5:30pm, Monday–Friday. The floor plan submitted by the licensee was reviewed and verified. The off-limits areas of the home are the master bedroom, back bedrooms, laundry room, garage, and back yard shed, and were made inaccessible by door knob covers and locks. The children use the back yard as the outdoor play area and it is fully fenced. There is a in ground pool in the back yard. The pool is fully fenced with 5 foot mesh fencing.
Five children's records were reviewed at 1:00pm. Three staff records were reviewed at 1:15pm.
There are currently 3 adults living in the home. The Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated. |
